Day Visits to Gold Lake

Gold Lake is the perfect day or overnight getaway. All of our guests are welcome to relax in our lakeside hot pools that are terraced and sunken into the mountainside above the lake. Each hot pool is kept at 104 degrees and has its own unique view. The lake is thirty five acres and guests are welcome to bring their fishing rods for catch and release fly fishing. We also have canoes and kayaks available for sunrise, afternoon or evening paddles.

Our resort backs Roosevelt National Forest where there are hiking trails and breathtaking views of the Continental Divide. During the winter months we have ice skates available and snowshoes for winter hikers. A coffee, tea, and fruit station is also set-up for our guests to enjoy throughout the day. Feel free to indulge and add a spa treatment or horseback ride to complete your visit. After all of your activities feel free to let your mind sink further into relaxation as you drift off in our lakeside hammocks.
